Concrete and Light
An ongoing study of raw and exposed concrete architecture — from Brutalist civic buildings to contemporary structural concrete. The interest is not in concrete as a fixed grey surface, but in how directly it responds to light: raking sun reveals board-marking and texture that flat, overcast conditions erase entirely, so the same wall can read as heavy or weightless depending on the hour it's photographed.
